Anita Briem hails from Iceland. Anita is best known as the actress who appeared as Jane Seymour in the TV show The Tudors. Briem was a young actress who started her journey into acting at the age of nine years old at Iceland's National Theater, is best recognized for her role as Jane Seymour. She participated as a child in many radio and TV programs, plays, and productions throughout Iceland. Briem became a child actor at age 16, when she moved to London. She was a part of the production of Lenin, in Love at the New End Theater. Briem was accepted into the Royal Academy of Dramatic Art when she was 19-years-old. Over the next three years she attended the academy and earned diplomas in drama and it was awarded the John Barton Prize for Scenic Fight.
