In Boston Schneider worked as the three-day reporter on special assignments who reported on the entertainment industry and lifestyle. Before joining WB56, she served as the forecaster on weekends for WFOR-TV Miami. She worked in a variety of reporting and meteorology positions which included News 12 Long Island (a 24-hour cable television news network) and WXII TV in Winston-Salem. Also, she worked for an affiliate of the CBS network within New York City as a frequent fill-in meteorologist on the The Saturday Early Show.
